A Few Updates
Don’t forget my Easter Egg Hunt. It’s getting down to the deadline to turn your eggs in to me if you have them. Deadline is midnight April 15th.
Series Stuff:
I’m hoping to release The Catalyst the first week of June. It’s with the betas currently. Barring any extreme problems, we should stay on that schedule.
Right now I’m supposed to be outlining LifeCycle and writing the rough draft while The Catalyst is with the betas but that schedule is just TOO tight and too much pressure, so much that it’s stifling the creative flow.
But I also have a pre-arranged schedule with my copyeditor that I would like to keep. i.e. the next date after the date I have to have The Catalyst to her, I would like to have SOMETHING to her, but it won’t be LifeCycle because that’s just too tight.
However, waiting in the wings, I have another Kitty (other pen name) novella. I’ve already written half of it. If I buckle down, I can finish the rough draft in three days and get that out with the betas and then in the queue for the next copyeditor spot. Which will give me a lot more space/time to get LifeCycle together and do it right. So I think that’s the plan. Because I already know exactly where I want this novella to go, and hopefully by the time that’s done, I’ll know what to do with LifeCycle as far as how to organize the material.
In cool News:
In cool news, a writer friend of mine, Jackie Barbosa, notified me the other day that RT Book Reviews Magazine featured Blood Lust as their paranormal pick for self published books in the May 2012 issue. On newsstands/bookstores now! Pretty cool.
The magazine interviewed me last year about my self publishing success and included me in a story. But this time, the focus is on my actual work itself instead of my publishing journey… which is awesome!
